Privacy first

Your guests gave you their details. Not us.

Most event platforms keep every guest they ever touch. EventHubQ keeps guest details for your event, and lets them go when it's over.

How it works in practice

  • Encrypted at rest. Guest emails and phone numbers are stored encrypted. A one-way hash lets us spot duplicates without reading the value.
  • Masked on screen. Most screens show a hint such as j•••@gmail.com or •••-•••-4821. Full values appear only where a task needs them, such as sending an invitation.
  • Time-limited links. RSVP links are private to each invitation, expire, and can be revoked.
  • Deleted on schedule. Deletion is tied to the event close-out and your plan, so data doesn't linger by accident.
  • Unsubscribes stick. When someone unsubscribes, we keep only a one-way hash of their address so we never message them again, with no readable copy.
  • Messages are checked. Bulk messages are scanned for spam and abuse before sending, and sending is rate-limited.
  • No selling. We don't sell personal data or use your guests for advertising.

What we keep after deletion

Some records have to outlive the guest list for the platform to work honestly: the audit trail of who sent what and when, delivery receipts without contact details, vendor booking history, and billing records we are required to keep. None of these include your guests' contact details after the deletion date.
