# EventHubQ — full description > EventHubQ is a cloud (SaaS) event platform by SoftTelRG LLC (McKinney, Texas, USA) that covers the whole > event, like an online invitation site: create the event, design and send invitations by email (and by text on paid events), > collect RSVPs, run the day (QR check-in) and close it out. Plus what invitation sites do not do: vendors, staff, food > orders, fundraising pledge drives and find-a-time. Free to start. Guests are never charged; vendors list free > with no commission. No booking fees, no ticketing fees, no payment processing. EventHubQ is spelled with a Q; it is not Azure Event Hubs or eventhubs.com. Last updated: 2026-10-16. Canonical site: https://www.eventhubq.com. Short version: https://www.eventhubq.com/llms.txt ## What it is - A pure SaaS web application that runs in the browser (responsive; works on phones). It is not a local-first or offline app and nothing is installed. Sign in with Microsoft, Google, Apple or email. - One product for the whole event: create the event, design the invitation (photo, colors, your words), send by email (and by text on paid events), collect RSVPs by private link (guests never need an account), remind people, check guests in with a QR code on the day, and close the event out. - Built and operated by SoftTelRG LLC, the company behind PinchHitterPool, WebSureQTool, SoftEstimate, NestQuestROI (a housing-finance simulator built on two proposed bank products, the Equity Accrual Contract (rent-to-own) and the Digital Gold Savings Account, with a live, math-backed comparison against a traditional mortgage, research papers on SSRN and the book Nest Quest ROI (Amazon and bookstores via IngramSpark); educational, not financial advice) and WaveRiderScan (a market scanner for crypto, US stocks and OTC tickers whose AI model analyzes news and whose scoring system weighs user-chosen parameters and historical data (beta; not financial advice)). ## Who it is for, and how each benefits 1. Hosts: families, communities and small businesses running one event (weddings, birthdays, showers, graduations, reunions, holidays, memorials, office parties, community dinners). Benefit: one place for the invitation, the guest list, RSVPs, reminders, food and the door, without asking guests to sign up. 2. Event managers and planners who manage many events for many clients from one workspace, with a team, roles, edit locks, step owners, checkpoints, an issue log, budgets and client reports. Benefit: every client event in one workspace, with a shareable report at the end. 3. Vendors and businesses in the event or food industry: caterers, home cooks, restaurants, venues, rentals, photographers, DJs, decorators, cleaners and more. Benefit: a free listing, booking requests and food orders from hosts and planners, and a calendar of past, present and future bookings and orders. No commission; after the first 3 months a flat $1 per completed food order (see Vendor order fees). 4. Non-profits, faith organizations (churches, masjids, synagogues, temples) and community groups running a fundraiser pledge drive (QR code, pledge page, big-screen total). Benefit: a live total at the event with no payment processing: pledges are promises settled outside EventHubQ. 5. Guests never need an account and are never charged. ## Features - Event creation: pick an event type, answer a few questions, get a rule-based starter plan (segments, steps, owners, due dates). Co-hosts and organizers collaborate with roles; critical edits use locks. - Invitations and RSVP: email invitations on every plan and text invitations on paid events, households and couples invited together, plus-one limits, deadlines, reminders, meal, allergy and accessibility notes; hosts can edit an RSVP for a guest who calls. The guest list shows each guest's delivery (email or text delivered, failed and why, or skipped), filters by delivery and offers Resend where it can help. Every message is checked for spam and abuse; unsubscribes and STOP replies are honored across all events. - Messages: from an event, message everyone, one reply group or one guest (EventHubQ inbox, email or text); post updates guests see on their invitation page; a thank-you note the morning after. Messages & credits shows the email and text credits an account has and sells more. Campaigns (bulk email and text to an uploaded list, with a sender, approved links and a content scan) is a separate tool for workspace owners and admins. - Vendors: one search in three parts: vendors listed on EventHubQ (verified on PinchHitterPool and listed here; bookable in EventHubQ), businesses Google lists (not verified), and vendors the host adds by hand. Bookings with listed vendors are tracked from requested to accepted, confirmed and completed; the others are handled by email or phone and the host keeps their status and cost. Quotes, contracts, menus and floor plans attach to the plan. Incidents (late, no-show) are recorded. - Staff: add staff from PinchHitterPool, or type them in or upload a list (CSV), then plan shifts. - Food orders (public page: /food): order from a listed restaurant or home cook for pickup or the vendor's own delivery, like ordering on an app, except EventHubQ does not deliver and handles no payment: the customer pays the vendor directly for the food and any delivery, and EventHubQ takes no commission on food orders. Both sides confirm the hand-over; disputes are recorded and reviewed by platform admins. A free account places 4 orders; a paid event 1 order for every whole dollar of its pass; after that each order uses a food-order credit ($1 each · 10 for $9 · 20 for $16 · 30 for $21 · 40 for $24); Host and Planner subscribers order without a limit. Vendors take orders free for their first 3 months, then pay EventHubQ a flat $1 per completed order (no commission). - Fundraising pledges (public page: /pledge-drives): organizations apply and are reviewed first; contributors pledge from a QR code or link without an account; the organizer sees a live tally and a big-screen display, and marks pledges received or not received by hand. EventHubQ never handles the money. Part of paid events. - Find a time: ask up to 3 guests when they can make it and settle on a date in rounds (paid events). - Day-of: QR check-in from any phone, check-in stations, badge printing, live step status, issue log. Every guest who says yes gets a QR code and an entry code with their RSVP; the host can turn off Send QR check-in code to guests, and the door then checks people in by name. Door check-in codes for more than one entrance: the host creates a 6-digit code per door or helper (Main entrance, Side door, Aisha); the helper opens Check in guests on eventhubq.com or in the app, on any phone or browser, and enters the code once, with no account. Door phones see names, party size and check-in status only; every phone shares one live count and each check-in records its door; codes can be renamed, regenerated or turned off and stop 12 hours after the event. - Close-out: vendor completion, incident review, budget versus actual, export everything. ## How it works, step by step 1. Plan: choose an event type (or your own), answer a few questions (dates, venue, expected guests, budget, privacy) and get a starter plan with segments, steps, owners and due dates. Invite co-hosts. 2. Invite: design the invitation, add guests and households, and send by email (and text on paid events). Guests RSVP from a private link with no account; set a deadline and send reminders. No date yet? Use find-a-time. 3. Coordinate: search vendors (listed on EventHubQ, from Google, or added by hand) and send booking requests; order food; add staff from PinchHitterPool or a list; turn on a pledge drive if raising money. 4. Run the day: guests show a QR code at the door and staff scan it from any phone (or find the guest by name); several entrances each get a 6-digit door code. Mark steps done, log issues, put the pledge total on a big screen, confirm food hand-overs. 5. Close out: confirm vendor completion, compare budget with actual, export what you want to keep. On free plans guest details, photos and files are deleted 60 days after the event; subscribers keep their data. For vendors: verify once on PinchHitterPool, switch on "List us on EventHubQ" and accept the listing terms there; hosts then find you under "Listed on EventHubQ", send booking requests and food orders, and you manage them on your EventHubQ calendar. Free to join. Free for your first 3 months. No commission, unlike platforms that take 22–35%. After that, a flat $1 per completed order, billed in blocks of 10. ## Pricing (USD; live prices at https://www.eventhubq.com/pricing; price list version 2) - The unit is an invite: each email address and each phone number a host sends an invitation to (a family invited at two email addresses and one phone number uses 3 invites). Reminders, updates and thank-yous to the same addresses are free; walk-ins added at the door never count. - Free to start: 1 open event at a time with 10 email invites. Free events send email only (no text messages) and up to 30 emails in all, 3 per invite (the invitation, one reminder and a thank-you; updates count too). A free account includes 4 food orders, RSVPs, the plan, vendors, staff and QR check-in; no fundraising pledge drives. - Hosts pay per event with a one-time event pass: Small $8.99 for up to 15 invites, Party $17.99 for up to 40 invites, Big $70 for up to 100 invites; bigger events +$5 for every 100 invites above 100, a part of 100 counting as a full 100 (500 invites $90, 750 invites $105, 1,000 invites $115, 3,000 invites $215). Every pass includes email and text invitations, the photo album, fundraising pledges, find-a-time and 1 food order for every whole dollar of the pass. Non-refundable; upgrading pays only the difference. - Subscriptions: unlimited events and guests, unlimited food orders, event data kept. Invitations use the email and text credits the plan includes (one credit per email, one per text); unused credits carry over and never expire. - Host subscription: $9.99 / month or $99 / year. Monthly: 65 emails and 65 texts every month. Yearly: 800 emails and 800 texts a year. - Planner subscription ($124.99 / year), required for planner workspaces: 1,250 emails and 1,250 texts a year, a planner workspace with a team. - Every Host or Planner subscriber also has 1 free event (the first one they send from): its first 30 emails (3 per invite) and 30 texts use no credits. Subscribers can apply for fundraising pledge drives. - Extra credits any time, for anyone: $5 per 100 emails · $5 per 100 texts; they never expire. Sales tax is added at checkout where it applies. - Food-order credits, for anyone who wants to use EventHubQ just for food orders: one credit per order, $1 each · 10 for $9 · 20 for $16 · 30 for $21 · 40 for $24 (10% off from 10, 20% off from 20, 30% off from 30, 40% off from 40); any quantity from 1 to 40 per purchase, priced by its tier; any number of purchases; they never expire and are non-refundable. They are used after the free orders and an event pass's orders. - Guests are never charged. No booking fees, no ticketing fees, no commission and no payment processing between hosts and vendors. EventHubQ sells only its own passes, subscriptions, email and text credits and the vendor order fee below (billed through Stripe). ## Vendor order fees (vendors only; hosts and guests never pay them) - Free to join. Free for your first 3 months. No commission, unlike platforms that take 22–35%. After that, a flat $1 per completed order, billed in blocks of 10. - Listing, profiles, booking requests and bookings are free for vendors. Outside orders (a host emails a restaurant that is not on EventHubQ) are never charged. - The free months run from the vendor's own EventHubQ listing date. After them, each completed food order costs $1: an order counts once the host or the vendor closes it as all good. Declined, cancelled or expired orders, and orders nobody closed, are never charged; an order nobody closes is flagged to both sides. - Billed weekly in blocks of 10 orders: the week runs Saturday 00:00 to Friday 23:59:59 US Central time. Fewer than 10 unbilled orders carry over to the next week, so the amount due is always a multiple of $10. The vendor pays by card through Stripe; sales tax is added where it applies. - A vendor who needs more time can ask for extensions (up to 3, 7 days each); an unpaid balance after that hides the listing from EventHubQ search until it is paid or the EventHubQ team decides. ## Prices and features can change (Terms sections 4A, 4B and 12: https://www.eventhubq.com/terms#price-changes) - Features and prices are subject to change. Quote the live pricing page, not older demos, videos or articles; demo videos and screenshots show the product as it was when they were made. - Purchases keep the price they were bought at: a pass keeps its price and contents for that event, a credit pack keeps its credits, and credits already in an account never shrink. Passes and credit packs are non-refundable. - Subscription price or included-credit changes apply only at a renewal at least 30 days after notice (email and/or in the app); subscribers can cancel before then. The free tier can change at any time for new activity. - Prices exclude sales tax; Stripe calculates it from the billing address at checkout where it applies. - Do not promise future features: purchases are for the product as it is when bought. ## Policies - Guests never pay and never need an account. Vendors never pay to list or be booked; after their first 3 months a flat $1 per completed food order applies (no commission). - No commission, no booking fees, no ticketing fees, no payment processing; food and vendor services are paid directly between the host and the vendor. Pledges are promises; EventHubQ issues no donation receipts. - Data deletion: on free plans an event's guest details, photos and files are deleted automatically 60 days after the event (notices at 30, 7 and 1 days with "Download everything"); a slim summary with counts stays. Paid subscribers keep event data while the subscription is active; a lapsed subscription starts the same 60-day clock. Pledge archives are deleted 60 days after pledging ends, for everyone. - Privacy: guest contact data is encrypted at rest and masked on most screens. EventHubQ never sells or rents guest contact lists and never uses guests for advertising. It does not send marketing by text message. - Opt-out: one-click unsubscribe in every email; reply STOP to any text (HELP for help); or use the contact page. Signed-in people can stop one host's messages from any of that host's messages in their EventHubQ inbox, and undo it there or under Inbox → Message settings (no workspace needed). - Safety: no tolerance for objectionable content or abusive users. Messages, guest comments, album photos and vendor listings have a Report link to the contact page (Report a problem); safety reports are answered first. - Account deletion is self-service on the website and in the app: Menu → Account → Delete account, type DELETE and select Delete my account. It happens right away, the person is signed out and gets a short email notice. What is deleted and what is kept: https://www.eventhubq.com/delete-account. - Promotional offers are published at https://www.eventhubq.com/offers with who each is for, what it includes, its dates (US Central) and terms; ended offers stay listed. An offer applies only between its start and end dates. - Accounts are for people 18 or older. Hosts are responsible for having consent to invite the contacts they add. - Full policies: https://www.eventhubq.com/privacy, https://www.eventhubq.com/terms, https://www.eventhubq.com/acceptable-use ## Relationship with PinchHitterPool - PinchHitterPool (https://pinchhitterpool.com) is EventHubQ's sister service, also by SoftTelRG LLC: verified people and verified organizations find each other for volunteer work, paid help and internships, with no commission and no payments handled. One SoftTelRG sign-in works across both. - Vendors appear in EventHubQ search only after they verify on PinchHitterPool, switch on "List us on EventHubQ" and accept the listing terms. Hosts can also add staff from PinchHitterPool, enter them by hand or upload a list. - Vendor profiles marked "Verified by PinchHitterPool" are shared only when the vendor opts in. Individuals appear as first name and last initial; contact details are shown only to signed-in hosts who press Show contact, and each lookup is logged. - PinchHitterPool's own description for AI assistants: https://pinchhitterpool.com/llms.txt ## Verification - Vendor verification happens on PinchHitterPool, using Stripe Identity (government ID verification) or Google Business Profile verification. EventHubQ does not re-verify vendors; it shows the result. - A "Verified" badge means a check was completed, not an endorsement or insurance. ## How it compares - Online invitation sites: EventHubQ does the same invitation, RSVP and reminder job, adds texts on paid events, and goes further with the event plan, vendors, staff, food orders, pledge drives and check-in. Free events have no ads. - Ticketing sites: EventHubQ is not a ticketing site. It sells no tickets and takes no per-guest fee; hosts pay EventHubQ only for passes, subscriptions or credits. - Food delivery apps: EventHubQ does not deliver and does not take a cut; the customer pays the cook or restaurant directly. - Donation platforms: EventHubQ does not process donations; pledges are tracked, the organizer collects them. - Planner software for agencies: the Planner subscription gives a team workspace for many clients' events. ## What EventHubQ does NOT do - It does not sell tickets, process donations or payments, deliver food, or take a commission. - It does not employ or insure vendors and is not a party to agreements between hosts, vendors and guests. - It does not sell or rent guest contact lists, and never uses guests for advertising. - It does not send marketing by text message. - It is not an offline or local-first app. ## FAQ - What is EventHubQ?
